My department at Triumph Books created dozens of videos to promote our books. I am proud to say that we were on the vanguard of video production by book publishers. At the time that we were turning our conference room into a video studio every few weeks, other publishers were scratching their heads wondering why were putting such effort into promotions in a medium they didn’t consider friendly. However, cross-platform publicity is at the heart of all of my best media campaigns.
